The Composition of Pura Complete:

1. 25% PhosLock brand modified Granulated Ferric Hydroxide Oxide (GFH);
   
   
2. 64% modified high purity zeo-sorbent (Ion Exchange Capacity of 1.65-2.10 meq/g or higher);
   
   
3. 11% select grade acid washed activated carbon.

The Purpose of Pura Complete:

To be used as an "all round" mechanical filter media in fresh, salt water and reef aquariums to remove large quantities of environmental and metabolic aquarium toxins.

Pura Complete offers convenience and simplicity.

It maintains extremely low to non-measurable levels of phosphate and silicates in the aquarium, thus greatly reducing propagation of algae.

Pura Complete also removes, arsenic, , organics, metabolic wastes and residual

medications with an extremely low impact on trace elements and desirable fertilizers like potassium.

This product removes a broad range of organics like urine, phenols, coloring agents, odors, and proteins; a broad range of heavy metals like copper, lead, and mercury that accumulates over time from trace quantities found in all fish foods; a broad range of toxins like ammonia, formaldehyde and arsenic; and a broad range of aquarium scum promoters like phosphates, and silicates.

How do I use PŪRA Complete?

Confined into the 6" x 12" 300-micron media bag which is provided, PŪRA Complete can be placed into any canister, wet/dry filter or sump.

Pura Complete can also be used by tropical fish shippers in the transportation bags. Add to the bags in small stocking pouches to combat dangerous metabolic waste products whilst livestock is in transit.

Should I supplement PŪRA Complete with other chemical media's?

PŪRA Complete removes all of the known major aquarium pollutants; it truly is an all-in-one media, hence there are no real benefits. Supplementation will only be required in the event of VERY adverse phosphate, nitrate levels etc.

Remove Pura Complete when using medications as it will strip the medication from the water column fast and effectively!
